Tips for Race Day

 

Get registered and ready to race! Check out our tips on registration and race facilities.

 

Online registrations only. There will be no manual paper entries on race day this year. Please register on your computers or smartphones. Registrations close 20 minutes before each race. 

 

Accompanying Adults.

An accompanying adult registration is always $25. To ensure safe course management, if you choose to run with your child in the 2km, please purchase an Accompanying Adult race bib when registering your child.

 

Avoid Race pack pick-up queues.

If you register by June 2 you can choose to receive your pack by mail. If you register after this date or select to pick-up your race pack in person, you will need to pick up your packs at Mosman Public School on Saturday June 15 or Sunday June 16. Depending on volumes, queues on Sunday can be significant and may delay your race start.

 

Parking is very limited.

Avoid parking and plan to cycle, walk or take public transport to the event. Check out full details on road closures and parking here. Bike storage is available inside the school grounds along Belmont Rd – don’t forget a padlock.

 

Arrive early.

Start times are: 10km at 7am, 5km at 8.15am, 2km at 9.30am, but we recommend you arrive at the start line at least five minutes before your designated start. Get start maps and timing details.

 

Bag drop off.

Valuables and bags can be stored in the bag drop off area in the school library. This service will be open from 6.15am and will close at 11am. Sunscreen will also be available at this location. Check out library location on the facilities map above.

 

Toilets.

Toilets are located within the school grounds and under the grandstand at Allan Border Oval (adjacent to the finish line).

 

Keep hydrated - water stations.

Water is available on the 10km course from 2 aid stations and the 5km course from 1 aid station. There is also a water station at the finish line after all three events.

 

Courses are marked.

Directional signs will be visible along all three routes. For more details about the 2km, 5km and 10km race routes, see written route details and maps for each race.

 

Keep the finish area clear.

Once you have completed your race, please exit the finish area immediately via the gate leading back into the school to ensure maximum room is left for all race finishers.
