RACE DAY SUNDAY 12 SEPTEMBER 2021 • UNSTOPPABLE FOR 39 YEARS • RAISING FUNDS FOR MOSMAN PUBLIC SCHOOL & ITS CHARITY
Take 3 For The Sea
Take 3 is an Australian not-for-profit organisation, founded in 2009 by surfing enthusiast, Amanda Marechal, marine ecologist, Roberta Dixon-Valk and environmentalist, Tim Silverwood.
Their message is simple: Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere special, and you’ve made a difference.
Thanks to the tireless work of the 3 co-founders and many helpful volunteers, Take 3 has developed from a grassroots project to become a leading international voice on providing solutions to plastic pollution, with participation in 129 countries.
Take 3 is leading a movement of people who are connected to the planet to remove plastic pollution from the environment and support measures to prevent waste and pollution. Take 3 education programs in schools, surf clubs, communities and online focus on inspiration and participation. Take 3 believes everyone has the power to take action and create positive change, no matter where they are.
Donations to Take 3 are invested into programs and activities to educate and inspire audiences and reduce global plastic pollution.
