10km Race Information

The 10km Mini-Mos race is our premier event and is open to all participants over 10 years of age. The 10km course has been certified by IAAF-AIMS for the 10km distance.

 

An IAAF-AIMS certification of the 10km course was completed on

24 March 2022.

2019 winner Olympian Liam Adams holds the 10k Mini-Mos record with a time of 29:58.

Start Details

 

Start time is 7.00am at the start line on Myahgah Rd beside Mosman Public School.

 

For elite athletes we offer a preferred start, which commences just prior to the main start. Find out more on 10km Elite.

The 10km

"The Mini-Mos is a challenging course and works well as a hard tempo which is always a great strength-endurance training session."

Race Divisions

The 10km is open to all participants over 10 years, within the following age group categories. Both male & female categories are based on the age you turn during the 2023 calendar year.

10k Prizes

The following prizes are awarded for the 10km course only.

 

Medals/Certificates

  1. Every runner who completes the 10km course will be entitled to collect a commemorative medal.

  2. Place getter certificates awarded to the three placegetters in each age group. Certificates will be sent out by email the week after the race

Cash Prizes

For the 10km, a cash prize is awarded to the first 3 place-getters overall (for both Male & Female) as follows:
1st: $1500
2nd: $750
3rd: $500

                                 

Premium Prizes

  1. A $250 premium will be offered for a winning time that breaks the 10km course record for men & women:
    Male: 29:58  (Liam Adams -2019)
    Female: 34:27  (Anna Thompson-2007)

     

  2. A $500 “Extreme Premium” additional cash prize is on offer for a winning course record time of less than: 
    Male: 30:00;
    Female: 34:00
