The Tony Abbott Challenge
Enter the Tony Abbott Challenge and beat Tony's time to go in the draw to win a fabulous race pack donated by The Athlete's Foot, Mosman.

How Does the Challenge Work?
During your online registration process (at the "Activities" step), you will be presented a field asking if you would like to take part in the Beat Tony Abbott sweepstakes. For every $5 increment designated as your donation (all donations going directly to the Mini-Mos charities: the Unicorn Foundation and Autism Spectrum Australia ), you will be given an entry to go into the sweepstakes draw during the awards presentation on race day.
Now, here’s the ‘gotcha’…you have to beat Tony Abbott 's time on race day for your entries to be included in the final sweepstakes draw. If you don’t beat Tony's time, your entries are discarded.
For example: If you donate $20, you will get four [4] entries in the Beat Tony Abbott sweepstakes, IF you’ve also beaten Tony's time on the race day.
Please note that the Tony Abbott Challenge closes with on-line registrations at 8pm on Saturday 15th June. It is not possible to enter the Challenge on race day.
Is Tony Running This Year?
Tony is such a loyal devotee of Mini-Mos that this would have been his 20th 10km race with us. He was registered to run and fully committed. Unfortunately Tony has suffered the loss of a close friend this week and he will be spending his weekend attending the interstate funeral.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Tony at this difficult time.
He sent us the following message:
"I’m terribly sorry that I won’t be taking my place alongside the other runners in this year’s Mini Mos Community Fun Run.
Most years I participate in the run and had hoped to do so again this weekend.
Unfortunately, I have had to travel interstate for the funeral of a close friend and will not make it back to Sydney until after the run.
To those who offered to participate in the Tony Abbott Challenge, if you still want to get into the spirit of the Challenge, my time last year was 52:50.
I am sorry I am missing the Mini Mos which is one of the most scenic runs in the country. This is a great event raising needed funds for Autism Spectrum and the Unicorn foundation.

What Happens Now to the TAC?
We are honoured that the TAC still has Tony's full support - and we will base it this year on Tony's run time from last year: In 2012 Tony ran the 10km in a time of 52.50.
