Preferred starts are allocated to the first 25 males with a verifiable 10km time of 33:00 or less, and the first 25 females with a verifiable 10km time of 35:00 or less. To apply, please contact the Race Director via email to info@mini-mos.com
For many years, the 10km has been our premier event. This event is open to all ages. This year, we’re again inviting all 10km entrants to try and “Beat Tony Abbott”, Federal Member of Parliament and Leader of the Opposition and regular participant in the Mini-Mos.

The Age Group categories for both Male & Female competitors are (based on the age you turn during the 2012 calendar year):
Under 20
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 - 69
70+
PRIZES
Medals will be awarded to the to three place-getters in each age group.
For the 10km, a cash prize is awarded to the first 5 place-getters overall (for both Male & Female), as follows:

| 2nd: | $900 |
| 3rd: | $600 |
| 4th: | $300 |
| 5th: | $120 |
A $250 premium will be offered for a winning time that breaks the 10km course record for men & women:
Male: 30:05 (Brett Cartwright-2007 and Martin Dent- 2008)
Female: 34:27 (Anna Thompson-2007)
A $500 "Extreme Prem" additional cash prize is on offer for a winning course record time of less than:
Male: 30.00
Female: 34.00
